About Noel & Killybegs Marine Surveyors
Killybegs Marine Surveyors was founded by Noel McGettigan.
Noel started his career in the fishing industry at the age of 16 out of Killybegs and progressed through the ranks from being a chief engineer to achieving a Master's Certificate of Competency. With over 30 years of marine experience, Noel and Killybegs Marine Surveyors can guide and advise you on the correct path whatever the issue may be. Noel has been involved in the build of many large tugs in Europe, windfarm vessels in Ireland and supervised the build of same. For many years Noel was involved in the Corrib Gas pipeline where clients relied on his skills to manage their vessels.
Noel is also a qualified Marine Surveyor graduating with a diploma in Marine Surveying from the International Institute of Marine Surveyors. The International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) is an independent, non-political organisation promoting the professionalism, recognition and training of marine surveyors worldwide.
